Windjammer Bar and Grill in Bloomington

Could be a Gold mine but is more like a Coal mine. Service is awful.

Would give zero stars if I could. Horrible service, horrible food, warm beer, always out of stock on most popular menu items. We keep giving them chance after chance, but always end up disappointed. Will not be back.

Even after seeing the reviews I decided to give it a shot and see if things had changed. They definitely have. It was a very slow day but there was a bartender and 3 servers. The food tasted good and it was timely.

Understaffed, Service was slow. Actually, had to walk up too the bar and get are own drinks. No second chances for this establishment and would not recommend it.

Poor, poor service. Small portions at expensive prices. Food is not very good. It used to be a great place!

Overall bad

I gave this place a 2nd chance. Really wish I hadn't. Our first visit was last Father's Day. Beautiful view. We were about to leave, and I had asked for a refill on water. For some reason a staff member left the pitcher of water on the table that they had filled my drink up about 3 times with. It was full of mold. I had been drinking moldy water, and so was my family. So today, another Father's Day lunch. I felt bad for the waitress. 9 tables, all by herself. Food was good...but my daughter showed me her knife that was rolled up as clean silverware...and it was filthy. My daughter had already had salad, and ate off of the fork that was touching this knife. I told our server, she was apologetic, but it wasn't her fault. I said whoever rolled this silverware must have closed their eyes while doing so. Gross! I am trying to post a photo of the knife, but not sure if there is an option to.

Great breakfast buffet, have been visiting off and on for years. The new cook Blake seemed to have actually cared about us as he was making an effort to clean up the buffet.

Great food, reasonable prices, and strong drinks! Love this place!

We ordered chicken nachos, canned chicken gross covered with greasy hard burnt cheese. How do you mess up chicken nachos? Worsted

Same old story here. Slow service. Gotta got drinks at the bar cause no one checks on you. Only place on the lake to get lunch. Sometimes I want to buy it because you could turn this into a great fun place
